New Feature - Players Can Now Talk Online with Discord

Imperial Craft is now proud to offer a place for players to talk with one another both on and off the server. Discord, like similar services such as Skype, allows users to talk with others with a microphone or typed responses. Unlike Skype, however, Discord's talk channels never go offline, so players never have to call other players. Simply log into Discord and join the on-going conversation. This is a great way to let your friends know when you plan on coming onto the server! For instructions about how to connect to the Imperial Craft Chat Channel, go to the page "Stay Connected" on the navigation bar.

Ancient Roman Ruins Discovered

In a remote area located hundreds of miles from Newington, archaeologists stumbled upon the remains of a Roman city. This new site is dubbed "Urbs" by leading archaeologist Mrs. Gertrude Berg, life-time citizen of Newington. She is quoted as saying "This site will offer us a great deal of insight about the daily lives of Roman citizens. ... The majority of the buildings in "Urbs" are remarkably well preserved. Our initial tests are preliminary, but evidence suggests that this Roman city was occupied until the latter portion of the fourth century AD." When asked about why she and her colleagues chose the name "Urbs," she responded, " 'Urbs' is one of the Latin words meaning 'City.' We have not found this city in any historical records, but we are striving to discover its actual name. In the meantime, however, 'Urbs' will have to do."
